The wheat is ground within 48 hours of baking to preserve all the nutrients that are in the grain. We use fresh ingredients in all the breads, no preservatives. The bread will stay fresh for up to 7 days; there is no need to refrigerate. However this freezes well if you will not need a loaf for the week. I like to cut in half and freeze half for later in the week.

White wheat is a different type of wheat that has no major genes for bran color (unlike traditional “red” wheat which has one to three bran color genes). An easy way to think of it is as a sort of albino wheat. The bran of white wheat is not only lighter in color but it’s also milder in flavor, making whole white wheat more appealing to many people accustomed to the taste of refined flour.
We use King Arthur Unbleached – Unbromated Flour Potassium bromate is typically added to bread flour to help the elasticity of the baked product. The additive is not permitted for use in the U.K. but it is used in the U.S. Many consider potassium bromate unhealthful and products that contain the additive must be labeled as such in some States in the U.S. CHALLAH$ 5- Is a braided bread sweet bread Ingredients: unbleached bread flour, water, milk, eggs, sugar, butter, yeast, sea salt RYE BREAD $5 – This bread takes 3 days to make due to starting it with a rye sourdough Ingredients: water, rye flour, clear flour, water, sugar, caraway seeds, sea salt, yeast
